Tiago Bozzola obtained his MSc in medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical technologies at Università degli Studi di Torino, Turin, Italy under supervision by professor Marco Lucio Lolli. He is currently pursing his PhD under the supervision of professors Ulf Ellervik and Ulf Nilsson at Lund University and professor Oliver Schwardt at the University of Basel in a project concerning the discovery of sialic acid derivatives as novel antibacterial drugs.
