Mujtaba Hassan

Mujtaba Hassan obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Omdurman Islamic University in Sudan in July 2014, with emphasis on Pharmaceutical Chemistry in the final year. In 2017, he graduated from the University of Copenhagen with a Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry and pursued his master’s thesis under the supervision of professor John Nielsen at the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology. He is currently pursing his PhD under the supervision of professor Ulf Nilsson at Lund University and professor Marko Anderluh at University of Ljubljana. His research interests are the design and synthesis of organic molecules with potential therapeutic applications.
